Picking Up The Threads of Reorganization Stage Again

Last time in posting about what I call the Reorganization Stage of healing from SV I left off with some professional therapy options.  There are others that I will just name.  Anyone interested can search online for more information.  Also, once again I would caution all seekers of therapy to remember that you are the consumer.  Your therapist is not the ‘know all’ and should not be put on a pedestal so to speak.  We are only human too. So, please when shopping for a therapist, ask about their experience and level of training in the therapy type you would like to try.  There are no legal requirements for training in any of them.  Specialized training is available to all therapists.  Ask to see their  certificates of training.  You can even note the date so as to get an idea of how long they might have used the approach.

So, since I first wrote the book, new deep healing therapies have been discovered.  “Brainspotting is a psychological treatment that helps patients to identify, process, and release core neurophysiological sources of emotional or physical pain, trauma, dissociation, and a variety of other challenging psychiatric/somatic symptoms.” (Wikibin:The Recycle Bin of Wikipedia,, Jan. 3, 2012.)

Brainspotting was developed by Dr. David Grand, who is an internationally know EMDR research, author, and trauma expert. For more information visit

Other therapies that may be helpful include energy testing, emotional freedom technique, somatic experiencing, and advanced integrative therapy.  I mentioned the Immanuel healing earlier.  Immanuel healing is based on the belief that God is able always to direct and influence our lives, but we may not be able to perceive God’s presence or recognize that God is with us.  When we perceive His presence and connect with Him, He is able to lead us through a process that can heal that can heal traumatic memories.  Even when we are not able to perceive God’s presence, the person you are working with will still be able to lead you through the process.  For more resources visit, www.thrivetoday,

By the way, today is my sister’s birthday.  Happy birthday Linda, I love you very much!
