OK! It is Both Here and it is Coming!

Yes, a pre-release copy of my book is here and will be made available to you for free through the month of April.  Redeem the Silence; an Unintended Journey  is both here now and coming.

You may receive a free, electronic draft by emailing me through the website at  It is currently available to you in .pdf format and about 2 months away from final publication when it will be available for purchase as an e-book or hard copy.

I hope those interested will find it helpful for survivors, their families, friends and faith communities and their leaders.  It is so essential to break the Code of Silence in spite of what seems to be ongoing reports of abuse still exists.  The Code of Silence does not seem to allow survivors to tell their personal stories should they choose to do so.  Telling their story in their community is so helpful to their healing on their Unintended Journey.  Why is it Unintended?  Well, someone else took over their body, they had no control (though many like to think they did) and God never, never intended for such horror to happen to them.  Do you think I over-state it by calling it horror?  Well, maybe a survivor will tell you in as much detail as they can tolerate their story without you saying a word and questioning nothing.  Then you can judge for yourself to yourself, not to her.  Reports may abound, yet very little is mentioned about the Unintended Journey the survivor faces.

My first book discussion group with Hadassah has been postponed from May to June.  I hope the members of the group will come with all their questions.  I am really looking forward to this opportunity.  If anyone else would like to sponsor such a discussion, I invite you to do so.

I do have to say, this book started with a scattering of notes ten years ago.  It has been so slow partly because, like Laura Hildebrand, author of Seabiscuit and Unbroken, I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  Lots and lots of help have come alongside me in this journey.  All are acknowledged in the book.  It would have absolutely been impossible without God providing every single person.  I thank you all.
